Anti-Ragging Committee

“Zero Tolerance for Ragging – Your Safety, Our Responsibility.”
At Prashanti Group of Institutions, we are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful campus environment for all students. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited and is a punishable offense as per UGC norms.

In alignment with the directives of RGPV, Bhopal and as per the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC), our institute has adopted a Zero Tolerance Policy against ragging for the academic session 2025–2026 and beyond.

Objective:
To prevent, monitor, and address any incident of ragging on campus and promote a culture of safety, respect, and responsibility among students.

Important Notices

  •  Ragging is a criminal offense under the Indian Penal Code.
  •  Strict disciplinary and legal action will be taken against any student found involved in ragging.
  •  All 1st-year students are under direct protection of the Anti-Ragging Committee.
  • Any form of physical, verbal, emotional, or cyber ragging is punishable.

Report Ragging – Stay Safe, Stay Empowered

Students may report ragging incidents anonymously or directly via:

  • Calling committee members
  •  Emailing at: antiragging@prashanti.ac.in
  • Visiting the Anti-Ragging Cell in the Administrative Block
  • Registering complaints through the official UGC Anti-Ragging Portal: www.antiragging.in

At Prashanti, we believe that every student deserves a safe learning space free from fear or harassment. Our Anti-Ragging Committee actively ensures regular orientation sessions, awareness campaigns, counseling sessions, and campus surveillance to prevent ragging.
